Excellent for meeting other riders, learning the route and protocols of group road riding so everyone feels safe and not stupid. ~ 20 mile route with average speed of 15-17 mph, regroup if needed. The Cruiser Ride is the "almost year round" weekly ride. It leaves from BikeWorld each Tuesday at 6 PM. In town, most of the route has street lights which allows for riding even when it's dark at 6 PM. This is the most laid-back, social ride of the week and a great way to have company when you tool around town, a perfect learning opportunity for someone just getting into bicycling, anyone who wants conversation, or to meet other riders and sightsee.
