Rides and Events

Good information

Check this page often for updated listings of all types of cycling events in and around our area. Rides require, at minimum, an appropriate bike in good working order, water, and a helmet. We suggest a spare tube, energy food, maybe a little cash in case we stop, and your committment to ride as a safe, sane member of the group. As many rides are subject to weather, it's a good idea to also confirm dates, time and any specific requirements. We'll see you out there having fun!

Apr 15, 2018Dogwood Trail Bike Ride & Dinner on the GroundsStart at BikeWorld (809 Joe Clifton Dr.) 2:30 PMThis is one of the most fun rides of the year for everyone regardless of riding ability. Ride the Dogwood Trail around Paducah at a slow and leisurely pace. A follow vehicle will be on hand to pick up anyone who has difficulty or who gets tired. The pace is slow-to enjoy the beauty of Paducah in spring time. Entire route is 11 miles, and there are some hills but riders may turn back at any time, after as little as one block if that's your limit. For the most of the riders this will be the first time back on their bike since fall, just don't worry if you're out of shape. Just get outside and have fun on your bike! No Charge. Do wear helmets please, and register at the event. We like to know who comes. Everyone is invited to a community-wide potluck on the BikeWorld lawn & parking lot afterward. BikeWorld provides the meat, drinks & tableware. Everyone is invited to bring others dishes to share. 270-442-0751
