The bike ride is just one event during annual four day party
& Superman Festivital. Tens of thousands of people flock
annually to Metropolis to celebrate the exploits of the "Man of
Steel." The hero himself leads off the Bike Tour, from the
back of a convertible. Between referring wrestling, presiding
over the carnival midway, and posing for photos with Superman
fans from all over the country, we forgive him for waiting for
another time to get out on his bicycle.

Each participant
competes in one of four gender divided age categories:
7-8; 9-10; 11-12; 13-14.
Each entrant receives a Paducah Kids Triathlon tee and race
number.
Each finisher earns a commemorative race medal.
Trophies for the top three boys and top three girls in each age
category.
Distances are: 7-8 and 9-10: Swim 100 meter, Bike 5k, Run 1k.
11-12 and 13-14: Swim 200 meter, Bike 6.2 miles, Run 2k.
Optional training sessions provided free
Running and Bicycle Training June 17 thru July 24, 2008 in Noble
Park.
Swimming training- Noble Park Pool. Dates TBA
Bring your own bike, helmet and running shoes.
