across the state.

RACK- 8 AM Ride
ACross
Kentucky,
the short way. 54 miles. Leave from BikeWorld, 809 Joe Clifton Drive,
Paducah, KY and ride to S. Fulton, TN. The riders going for bragging
rights will pedal back to Paducah. Alternately, you
can sign up in advance at BikeWorld for a SAG ride home in a
semi-air-conditioned vehicle.
Most of our rides are set help to help everyone succeed. This one
is set up to weed out the wimps! Riders are responsible for
being self sufficient. It's usually 90 degrees before the
sun is fully up. August in western Kentucky-the humidity is
legendary. The terrain is lightly rolling hills and well
paved roads. Riding both ways (on bike) makes a century.

reserve a seat in a vehicle and be sagged back.
RACK is lightly supported, if at all. But, everyone who rides it

This is
relaxed bicycle ride through Paducah's lush
residential neighborhoods. Riders bicycle along at
their own
comfortable pace, usually for about 90 minutes but there
are plenty of chances
for riders to shorten or extend the ride to
suit their abilities. The route will be
clearly marked.
BikeWorld will provide a follow vehicle and staff
members on bicycles will circulate among the riders
to assist in case of fatigue or mechanical
problems. This is a perfect spring outing not only
for for families and couples new to but also for
experienced bicyclists who want to enjoy a
funtastic, low-cost (actually free) outing!
Everyone who enjoys
riding a bicycle is invited.
There will be free grilled hamburgers and hot dogs
on the BikeWorld lawn after the ride. Anyone
inclined to bring side dishes or desserts to pass
are encouraged to follow their hearts!
