RACK- 7 AM Ride Across Kentucky, the short
way.
54 miles. Leave from BikeWorld, 809 Joe Clifton Drive,
Paducah, KY and ride to S. Fulton, TN. Buy your lunch at the
infamous "KEG" restaurant, known for barbecue ribs, beer and
ice cold air conditioning. The riders going for bragging
rights will down a plate of ribs with a couple of brews then climb
on their bike and pedal back to Paducah.
Most of our rides are set help to help everyone succeed. This one
is set up to weed out the wimps! Riders are responsible for
being self sufficient. It's usually 90 degrees before the
sun is fully up. August in western Kentucky-the humidity is
legendary. The terrain is lightly rolling hills and well
paved roads. Riding both ways (on bike) makes a century.
